Lunch seminar: Sex in ones own language? (NO/Sami)

“Sexuality education requires the teacher to have a language for sex and the ability to talk to students about body, sex and boundaries. The organization Sex and Politics is behind the teaching resource Week 6, which is widely used in sexuality education in Norwegian elementary school, and now they are launching a Northern Sami translation. Can this have an impact on sexuality education in the Sámi school? And is teaching resources in Southern Sami and Lule Sami necessary?

This event will try to answer these questions.

The event is a collaboration between Saepmie Pride, Sex and Politics and the NTNU University Library.
